Frequently asked questions

Do I need to create an account? No. Larpsmith automatically creates an anonymous account on first launch. Neither an email address nor a password is collected.

Is my content available on several devices? Not at the moment. The anonymous account belongs to the device you installed the app on. Sign-in and synchronisation are planned for a later version.

What happens if I delete the app? You lose access to your content and it cannot be restored – we hold no attributes that would let us identify you as the owner. Back up your content beforehand via Settings → Export data.

Which languages does the app support? German, English and Spanish. By default the app follows your device language; under Settings → Language you can set it explicitly. The setting also applies to text the AI generates for you.

Does the app work without internet? The content you loaded most recently stays readable offline. Creating and changing content, and the AI features, require a connection.

How do I delete my data? Under Settings → Data & export → Delete all data. This irrevocably removes all content from the server.

Why is an AI request sometimes refused? Requests and results are checked for disallowed content. Depictions of combat, danger and death are explicitly permitted – that is part of the genre. There is also a daily quota for AI generations to prevent abuse.

The AI produces unsuitable results. The more specific your title, genre, mood and notes are, the better the result fits. Every section can be regenerated as often as you like and edited by hand.
